@ Paininside: Regarding your post near the top.... i disagree. Get some yamas on the top fams and you will notice something significant. The top fams have infiltrated each other's core area. When attacks start tuesday its gonna be total chaos. If these fights go down the way i think they will....the top fams will tear each other apart fighting.

Yes....someboday has to come out on top of these fights. Thats the way war is. However....its gonna cost them alot of time and resources fighting a war (or wars perhaps). The smaller familys should take advantage of this and use it as an opportunity for growth. Hell...a small family could get in on the fighting by jumping an attacker or 2 and grabbing planets while the big familys are distracted with each other.

My point is.....not everything is as cut and dry as it seems. I could be proven wrong. Perhaps a few of these wars end abruptly and NAPs are signed immediatly. This could end up a being a boring round for a handfull of familys if that scenario plays out. Ultimately how much fun the round is up to us as players. We can make it fun by fighting as often as possible. We can avoid farming small familys for easy pickings.

lets keep an open mind and try to have some fun with this.

Farming Machines (5517)

ALLYS: 5510
An awesome family stacked with talent. Teddy, Spam and Domi are very capable attackers. Their bankers are solid and with Oxygen running the economy they will do great. The entire family is quite active. Their alliance is strong, active and communicative too. 11, 13, 19 and 26 are awfully close to them, but im confident the tractor family will farm those familys with ease. Pun intended!! LOL
MY PREDICTION: Contenders for the win. Top 3 at least. The theme of this family says it all.

The Smurfs (5510)

This is my family and im expecting good things from us. Our attackers are very good and our banking core is second to none. We got the 2 best resourcers in all of IC in here! Our location is a bit scary as we are surrounded by lots of good familys in the cluttered sector 1. Good diplomacy and activity will see us through the challenge of being in this sector.
MY PREDICTION: Contenders for the win. Top 5 at least. We're gonna smurf the smurf out of you mothersmurfers!!

Superstar Line-up Ally Us (5525)
ATTACKERS: Finaqua, The Joker, Cougar, Three Bear Empire
BANKERS: HappyJedi, Everglide, Gollum, Gab, MrCoolMan
LOCATION: N-W Corner sector 3
ALLYS: Unknown
The bankers in this family are active and quite good. My only concern is their attacking line up. Cougar is...well...cougar and the others are relatively unknown. Can they get their bankers enough planets to compete? They are in a somewhat tricky location and dangerously close to 17. They will need to spread into the empty sector 4 early on. I can see them getting a good economy early on, but perhaps falling short when its time to war.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders. They will start strong, top 5 perhaps, but finish top 10 at best.

Dont Hate (5521)
ATTACKERS: Smaug, Juic3, Scorp, Undeath
BANKERS: Insane, EvilRunt, Galeonis, Vegeto, Generalskulls, Lexuzis, Remo
LOCATION: N-W corner Sector 1
ALLYS: 22
Smaug is the all star out of the attackers in this family. Scorp is just too unreliable to be a great attacker. The bankers and resourcers in this family are pretty darn good though...IF they remain active and involved. A few of them have a tendency to go inactive after a week or 2. Their location is scary being in sector 1 being right next to 15 who is allied to 20. Whoever they allied better be ready to bail these guys out. Perhaps they can spread into sector 3 early and establish a core there.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders! Top 10 at most. They are just too close to 15 and stuck in a hellish sector.

Immigration wuz Kewl! (5520)
ATTACKERS: Nolio, Torqez, Lohan, Airwing
BANKERS: KT, Evilsheep, Genesis, Jets, Ryobi, Mizzle, Elrohir
LOCATION: N-E Corner sector 1
ALLYS: 15
Their attacking squad has the potential to be devastating. Airwing and Lohan are always solid, my only concern is Torqez's activity and Nolio's motivation. The bankers in this family are top notch and very active and as a result will have a strong economy early on. Their ally is close enough in sector 1 for them to be dominant in there. They are also close enough to sector 3 to establish a core in there and fight in sector 1.
MY PREDICTION: Contenders!! They will be top 5 at least. Their success will depend on Nolio and Torqez being active. If not....i could be eating my words.

League of Mythical Creatures (5507)
ATTACKERS: AlphaCentauri, Lee, Korrigan
BANKERS: Poki, LordofCoffee, Sparta, Curbian
LOCATION: S-W corner sector 4
ALLYS: Unknown
I know Lee in this family and thats about it. Hes a very good attacker if he has a supportive family. I cant speak of the skill of the bankers as i know none of them. Lee just might end up going inactive out of frustration if these guys arent active and chatty. They do, however, have a very nice map position in the empty sector 4. If these bankers are active i can see them getting a decent core in here. Im thinking when the 2 weeks are up they will be torn apart by invaders from the other crowded sectors.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders! Top 15 perhaps top 10 if they suprise me.

Their attackers are somewhat decent but not exactly reliable as far as activity is concerned. I do like their banking team though. Zarf, Arsy and RD are good active bankers. This family's strength lies in it's alliance and im sure 20 will have to carry them attacking wise. Sector 1 will be total chaos and this family will need to rely on diplomacy and their ally to survive here. They are quite close to sector 2 and im sure the bulk of their core will be there.
MY PREDICTION: Contenders!! Top 5, perhaps top 10 if their attackers dont bring their A game.

Booting Up the War Machine (5524)
ATTACKERS: Artic, Baratheon, Rain
BANKERS: EM, Shadowsoul, Luster, Fudgeh, SCK
LOCATION: lower sector 2
ALLYS: Unknown (perhaps 09?)
Artic, Bara and Rain attacking....need i say more? No offense guys, but your reputation is well known. I can see them getting a decent economical start based on their location in sector 2. Their bankers are decent and if you cant get a good core in sector 2 youre doing something wrong. Id like to say they might suprise us, especially if they allied 09, but im afraid we will see the same old nonsense from an Artic family.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders! They will start top 5-10. When war is brought to them they will fail.

Bad Asses! (5522)
ATTACKERS: Oris Dorch, IC Death, Halisho, Fygaro, Chaos, Tico
BANKERS: Lethal, King, Kukuska, Lew lew
LOCATION: S-W corner sector 1
ALLYS: 21
Love the theme guys! I really like the attacking line up too. Tico, Fygaro and Halisho are solid. IC Death can be hit or miss though. I wonder if they are attacker heavy. Their bankers arent the most active and they will need alot of bankers to support all those attackers. Their location in sector 1 isnt great. Their ally, 21, is on the other side of 10 and too close to 15. I can see them doing well on their own, but do they have what it takes as an alliance to do great things?
MY PREDICTION: Contender!! Top 5 perhaps, most likely top 10 but they will be a threat.

League of Legend Champions (5516)

I cant really comment on the attacker squad here as i dont know who pandafushi is and i dont know danny all that well. Colorado and benny are solid bankers and colorado is a capable experienced leader. Im sure he has a family full of noobs and unknowns but if anyone can bring them together Colo can. Their location isnt too bad and they have room to spread. 17 and 22 are awfully close though and i can see that causing problems for them.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders! Top 10 at most, perhaps top 15 if they fail to hold 17 and 22 at bay.

We all know TNT is a damn good attacker. According to their leader the rest of the players in this family want to remain hidden. So who knows what they are capable of. Rebelzombie and rchie are decent bankers and their location will help them alot. Sector 4 is so empty that they should be able to establish a nice sized core in there. 13 and 19 are close to them and they will probably see some action due to 13 and 19 not wanting to have cores close to 17.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders for now. Top 10 if their mystery players are decent. If this is all they have, then top 15 at most.

iSteal! (5523)
KEY PLAYERS: James|sunstorm, Giovanni, Xavier, IC King
LOCATION: sector 1
ALLYS: Unknown
A family of noobs and unknowns led by James|Sunstorm. James is a solid experienced player and knows what hes doing. Question is does the rest of his family have the activity and skills to survive in sector 1? Hes gonna have to work his ass off to get these guys ready by week 2 when all the fun starts. Unfortunately i dont expect them to be a threat. There are just too many good familys in that sector and unless James can be online 24/7 and attacking constantly, hes gonna get devoured.
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders!! Top 15 at most, MAYBE top 10 if he gets PNAPs with half a dozen familys.

Bankers R Us (5513)
KEY PLAYERS: ATeam, Darkstar, Killor
LOCATION: south sector 3
ALLYS: Unknown
According to ATeam they had some good players delete and leave for more active familys. He told me that hes gonna stay and play it out and see how it goes. ATeam is a good player, but i cant see him carrying a family of relative unknowns in sector 3. They are too close to 17 and other familys to stand a chance. This is not the sector to just 'see how it goes'. Maybe they will be too small by week 2 for them to get attacked?
MY PREDICTION: Pretenders!! They wont finish better than top 15.

NOTE: This is just over half of the familys in Milky Way. I didnt get replys from any of the other familys. That leads me to believe that they're not very active and will probably be farms and i will consider them PRETENDERS for the time being. If i get their replys i will write them into the PvC tomorow.

it sounds really fun and its very well written. I like the details and thought put into it. A while back i was trying to come up with a roleplaying scenario for a galaxy. This is kinda similar to what i had in mind and it would add some fun elements to the game. That being said i can there be a few problems with this.....

...it sounds really complicated from a programming point of view. Elro and Ps are pretty damn smart though. Not saying they CANT do it. Might be alot of work.

...not having droids makes attacking for the good guys kinda rough. To the point where most attackers will want to be bad guys just for droids alone. UNLESS your saying they can own droids, but not attack with them. Meaning droids will always defend against other droids. Read my next point lol

...not having soldiers for the bad guys means bad guy bankers HAVE to have droids or their planets are totally undefended. Cuz of this you will never see revalon or partaxians being bad guys. UNLESS your saying they just cant attack with them. In this case the bad guys have a clear advantage over the good guys in wars. This would also mean bankers cant take planets off attackers with their soldiers.

...and Mace you talk about NAP breaking eh? Perhaps your memory is a little foggy. Let me help you out. It was your alliance who first broke the NAP. We simply reacted with overwhelming force and strategy. Your alliance brought it upon themselves.

Better yet, why dont we talk about how you and your family took advantage of a market bug and cheated. You gained a lot of resources and cash off of that bug. Yet you still lost to us despite having cheated. We whooped you so bad that most of your family and alliance went inactve out of shame.

We are getting our asses handed to us. But we kinda knew that was gonna happen. We are working with one attacker versus 6 of theirs.
