Yes it probably would be fun to have all these diplomatic and strategic options to us, but the problem is that it could not be controlled and that would lead into catastrophic situation where we would have mafia like buddy systems to control happenings in galaxies.
There already is this "elite" (not by skill always, they just know ppl) in IC who is fighting and scheming in the backgrounds and largely control families by leading them and managing diplomatics. If mods would give tools to dominate galaxies, they would take them and make IC their personal playground by forming permanent groups to make unofficial alliances and whatever.

Yup. In the good old days we had standardized NAPs readily to be copy/pasted from forum, which was an arm long contract. One of the most used was TNT

After the round in PW is a bad timing...
At least if you want active and competitive galaxy. Ppl may join, but after some ppl ruin the start because of xmas, it ruins the game for many and ultimately whole ICPG/ICC.
So, if mods think like you, they will fail. Thus I wanted to vote for starting times too. Maybe not vote but that voting would have opened discussion about it nicely.

Everyone is so worried about the future of IC and how dishonor and stuff like that push new players out of the game, yet mods are not ready to write a small description for new players in those polls... and apparently some players blame new players for not reading everything in the forums in their first few days in this game.

If there is immediate CF after NAP talks have started, what stops me from taking loads of planets, starting portals in enemy core and then offering a NAP. NAP talks have started, so honorable players will give me automatic CF and won

Do you have something personal against me I should be aware of? Or do you just want to insult random ppl?
Intelligence 3? When I have lost fleet to traps or when I have attacked without gathering sufficient intell? I should have 9 here at least!
What ppl have to do to get activity ranks 8-10? Because I was online about 10-18 ticks per day last round and woke up in middle of the night or stayed up late until 5am (even when I had to wake up 8am), whenever fam needed me.
To those ppl who say this is a popularity contest and not to be taken seriously... I just can

And it does not matter if mods duck it up or if there was a bug. Result is the same and also the solution should be the same. Fix it the best way you can mods, because either you did it or game did it, but whatever happened it is your job to do your best to fix it.

Wow... and ending IC would have erased all the problems. If you mess with things, you will fix it too. It is the normal way to handle these things.
