Okay seriously guys, if you're going to post here, make it relevant to the OP.  No more pool talk.  Focus the discussion on... um... xeno's drinking habits?

Wow, I can't believe that, as a forum mod, I'm forced to tell people to get back on the subject of someone's drinking habits.  Moreover, I can't believe people would feel the need to distract from the topic of that person's drinking habits.  What the hell's going on here?  X(

All I know is that threads like this could get me to start drinking...

I'm going to assume some political point is going to be made, but I'll ask that you shed light on that point relatively quickly.

And because I was bored, I compiled the list.  Below, you will see the same chart, with the results from everyone who has given their results, so you all know who your friends are.  tongue

I'll update this as people add their names.  If WFS lets me, I would edit the OP to add the compilation there.  smile

So therefore neither American OR European! tongue

Also considering they have a whole page on English political parties, yet no equivalent for American or Europeans... yeah.  smile

No, because I'm noticing that both Europeans and Americans are claiming the system is based on the political system of the other.  In particular, I find the European claim  that the poll is based on the American system relatively odd considering the author says that the American system is way far to the right/authoritarian end of the spectrum.

I'm starting to think this test isn't necessarily an American-leaning test or a European-leaning test... it could simply be wrong.  tongue

That's interesting... my overall place has actually moderated a bit more in the past 5 years (first time I took this, about 8 on the economic right section, then slowly migrated until it's at 5 here).

Enjoy!  (Actually, last time I ran this myself, I was much closer to Ron Paul than anyone else... which is... well... odd, to say the least).

I would also question the calibration of the scale, everyone has been shifted way to the left - apparently wfs and I are about to start an anarchistic revolution and I am much further away from the centre than Flint is. I guess in this case "the centre" is the centre in the USA. Anyway it is just a bit of fun, I don't think there is any point reading anything more than that into it

That's amusing when considering that, according to this scale, the center in the US is pretty far to the hard right.

Yeah... he hates pretty much every US candidate tongue

EDIT: Disclaimer: obviously, the actual measurement of their candidates relative to the compass is the author's perception of the candidate stances on each issue, so it's not exactly a perfect correlation by any means.
