Wa wa wa. Russia has nukes. Big deal. Now they have nukes and Georgia. When they take out Ukraine they will still have nukes. When they "protect" Russian enclaves in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus,Moldava, Finland, Poland they will still have nukes. So what?

Nuclear war is an acceptable alternative to several outcomes.

We still have more missle subs that Russia can't get at. They can't do a first strike that obliterates our response capability to annihilate their economy. That's why we built a billion-dollar boat.

If we put 100 combat aircraft into Gerorgia we'd shred a couple of Russian tank regiments and war's over. If Russia responded with a nuke we'd slag them. But we don't have the balls to back our friends.
