As far as i know, when someone in NL commits suicide its most often just himself. In worst case he/she takes his direct family along or a certain person(s) that ruined his/her life (i.e. bully @ school ect.). However randomly killing people on the streets? almost never happens without a gun

still, the numbers off death by guns in the US are many times higher then those numbers in other country's

Sure i agree that those guns might give some form off protection, esp in area's that are demographicly isolated, like a gasstation along a long and lonesome road, where polices has a responcetime off 2 years. But in urban area where theres plenty off cops, i dont see the need for a gun to protect your store

or maybe, when you know they have a gun, you just shoot them when you start the robbery, to make sure he doesnt shoot back

i think its harder to rob someone ith a gun if guns arnt allowed for anyone and are hard to come by as random cheap robber.
