After the lynch was completed they searched his room and possessions. Shocking evidence had came to light. Glue, the Jewish soldier seemed to be the gefreiter! Now failing to avenge the deaths of his brethren.

Intelligence Command Office, Cherbourg

A high-pitched alarm rang throughout the base. This caused all of the soldiers to pause their current activities at once and they relocated to the court yard to gather for the lynching. Thte court yard had been chosen for practical reasons, mainly the pressence of the small little barrack containing several showers for non hygenic purposes. The yard filled rapidly and one of the soldiers pulled out little yellow papers from the large box that had been placed for everyone to leave their vote in. Carefully he turfed the votes before calling out his verdict. "JETS ,in democratic manner the german soldiers have decided it is you who is responsible for this treason. Do you have anything to say?"

Jets started yelling and cursing in what appeared to be Canadian English. Things such as "Death to Hitler" and "I hope you all burn in hell". Two soldiers quickly dragged him towards the barrack and threw him in, locking the door shut. A tiny red wheel - that could be found on one of the pipes the ran over the outside wall of the barrack - was turned open and a sissing sound was to be heard from inside the barrack. At first the pounding sound of fists hammering against the steel door was resonating through the courtyard, but slowly the stomping became softer and less frequent until there was no more pounding.

One of the soldiers turned off the gas, while one of the others barked out some orders. Slowly everyone return to their posts. Hopefully they would catch them all as easy as they had found out about Jets.

The base of the Cotentin Peninsula, Normandy, France

An allied battle group took position on a higher ground looking out over the west of the Cotentin. One of their spotters had sighted a German regiment, whilst remaining unseen himself. The enemy regiment was seemingly not prepared for this attack especially after already suffering heavy casualties against allied airborne divisions. The axis group of soldiers was easily taken out and without wasting much time, they and other allied divisions moved onwards, disposing of all the German encounters on the Contentin Peninsula. These attacks would get them in striking distance of Cherbourg soon. Very soon.
