Can you slow the zoom with a wheel mouse setting some? I scroll a little and the lag between me scrolling and the map zooming is enough to make me try to zoom again and then im zoomed way out.
I like how we can just click on the system and it shows all the planets and their owner/bonuses but if you click on an owned planet there is no option to send that planet's owner a message. Can you make the family number linkable to the family page? so we can check the family? I know i can just type it in or check the rankings page for the family but it's an additional step and isn't necessary with the old map.
Will there be a way to open multiple systems at once? Like how we opened the systems with seperate tabs on the old map? Or should i just stick to the old map for that?
Now that I've gotten to use the new map on my laptop it's not half bad 
A few more tweaks/improvements and it will be pretty nice. For many years i wished there was a more online/multi PC/mobile version of the mapgen so i wouldn't have to install it on any PC i was using IC with. This looks like it's making good headway towards that
What happened to starting on tuesday or wednesday? Saturday is so far away and im on vacation for this week not next X(
Yeah whats the deal? I made a custom race but cant check it without being in a galaxy

You'd be surprised. There's no good way to track this stuff. The best a dev can do is to look at the page request logs. I've seen logs proving people accidentally do some pretty strange stuff.

Probably use the lowest planet count if there is a tie they go with the lowest NW. If the NW are tied it's the least liked player by the mods
Can't see any. Just loads a blank black page when i click on one of my custom races. I thought this had been fixed but maybe it was only the races seen ingame.
Just make it a galaxy with special rules. Is aid coded like the ticks where you can't change it in one galaxy without changing it in all?
When i read the initial idea i thought there should be a limit of a certain percent that could be taken within a tick. Like you could have access to 10% of the persons Cash/Resources per tick. Something like that.
The idea also made me consider the abuse that multi accounts could do and the likely increase in multi accounts to take advantage of the abuse.

Didn't they change it so you don't need to mark them inactive to pass planets within your family?
Possible Abuse of the 100% back in same tick:
If people are opping your cash/resources you could hide it in infra and get it all back if you cancel it just before tick. It would be safer then hiding it on the market or passing it to other players.

yeah i only meant the choice for now until you can field a more finished object. i think it's like a gantt chart where you have the legacy system overlapping with the new one until it's all integrated seamlessly. knowing IC any time you add something, something else is going to have issues
What if you added a link to the new map on the old map page so people could choose to load the old map or the new map from the map page? it'd be more noticeable then the link on your HQ page
I have a dock with a keyboard/touchpad for my tablet. No coordinates appear when i hover the mouse pointer or they appear after a very long time. I can't choose any of the filter options or buttons
Also, in most cases there is no mouse to hover when you're using a tablet or smart phone so there's no way you can see the coordinates for the systems.
I cant open systems from the map view. I'm using a tablet with Android 4.0 and the Dolphin browser in desktop mode. I try to click open a system and the whole screen flashes like i pressed one big button and nothing happens.
To specify, it closes the browser when I try to open any of the systems from the map.
Does the new map not highlight systems we are in anymore?
So your issue isn't limited to Safari. /
On a side note, I was trying to scroll around on the map using my android 2.3.5 cell phone using Dolphin and it closed my browser.
Are you using it with an apple product or.something else? You may be holding the Mac product incorrectly...
Did you try using a different browser? See if it will work correctly on your system.
