Reagan was awesome

he stationed nukes in Belgium

and told the Soviets where, so they'd divert resources to bomb Belgium big_smile

thereby siphoning support from strategic ops against NATO's Atlantic facilities or tactical support in Germany smile

such deserve all that society can throw at them

who knows what that means.  It does no harm to a child to go to jail for her crimes.  NYPD should countersue and tell her mommy and daddy will lose their home

yeah I don't call the cops til after I go out, armed, to check for myself

and if they're stealing I run them off, then I call PD to see them go

and out west anyhow PD does take 30 mins unless lethal force is involved.

>>I will agree...the whole calling the cops and being dragged out in handcuffs...was way over the line.  <<

Why? She committed a crime, and she's 12.  I mean, when she got released, did she go to a bar and relax for a few hours, then catch a movie and a topless show? Or did she go where she was told and get locked in for the night--y'know, home?  If -I- got locked up it'd be outrageous, I might want to stay out all night on the roads built with my taxes.

Funny you say that

1.  As a veteran of the US armed forces, Flint probably had to learn to field-strip a rifle while blindfolded.

2.  The main battle rifle of British forces in WW2, the Lee-Enfield .303, is, under US federal law, a "military collectible" that can be bought at a gun show for cash without waiting 3 days for a background check for such things as criminal records or mental health confinement.  In most states it can be carried in a locked container like a toolbox.  Cause a Lee-Enfield Mk 4 is not a scary dangerous assault weapon, see.

3.  Flint is probably behind you right now, he wouldn't need to be closer than 600m

sure she broke a law, she wrote on a desk. that's why she wound up in court.  if you break the law, and you're an ass to cops, I hope they break your arms stopping you from punching yourself.

"-Local councils won't be able to pay for basic services if people constantly veto council tax rises. I think local councils are often extremely inefficient but inefficiency needs to be dealt with by review and reform, not starving them of funding and inevitably witholding services from the people."

Usually that review ends with "we can keep paying for it, so why reform?"

""unaccountable police authorities would be replaced with a directly-elected official to set policing priorities, budgets and strategies."
-So we replace unaccountable but competent people with lay people who don't know what they are doing? This is a waste, how much will these elections cost? What will we really gain from it? Populism isn't a way to run a police force? Why are we modelling our police force on the USA, which has much worse crime rates than we do?"

Oi!

Apparently they aren't doing such a competent job that Tories can't complain about it.
