A distant rattle of gunfire could be heard through the cold damp air as a battle seemed to be closing in around the village. Although nobody was taking considerable notice as the soldiers were eager to execute who they believed to be another SAF.

Nobody said much as they dragged Undeath to the middle of town, not even Undeath himself as he surrended almost instantly and without fuss. One of the officers walked out and raised the sights of his MP40, aiming between the brows.
"Any last words?!" He yelled out.
"Ahh, wee wee-" Exclaimed Undeath, but the soldier had heard enough and blasted a bullet through his cranium.

Satisfied with his handywork, The german officer walked up to the corpse, checking the pockets and pulling out a croissant, baguette and some mob related items. "Hurray!" Called out the officer, "We have gotten rid of another treacherous SAF, this one from the French Resistance!" The crowd cheered, but few half-heartedly, knowing that an end was drawing near, and all they could do is wait.
