An angry mob gathered in front of the Captain's quarters. "Some people aren't pulling their weight, this is not fair", someone shouted. Captain Angus McLeod yelled with a towering voice: "ENOUGH!, I shall have no more of this. Who is the worst of this lazy scum?". Ps stepped forward and showed the captain a detailed list of every pirates' activities. In a shy shrieking voice Ps added": "Lamb is the worst, sir, he hasn't done anything at all!"

The Captain ordered his crew to fetch Lamb for him. Einstein and Arby3 found Lamb, laying in his bed, apparently still asleep. They dragged him to deck and handed him over to the Captain. "Let this be a lesson for all of you lazy bastards" the Captain said as he tied a piece of rope to Lamb's waist.

The crew went silent as Lamb was thrown overboard. When the bloody remains of his body came back up on the other side of the ship, he was moving as much as he was beforehand. In hindsight, he may have just been dead all along.

"Right, everyone back to work, no more slacking! Oh, and erm, maybe we should do something about those barnacles".

Special roles have till 21:00 GMT to send in their targets.

The night was dark, and seemed to go on forever. Eventually the sun rose from behind the horizon and a new day began. Nothing out of the ordinary seemed to have happened.

It is now ***DAY-PHASE***

Everyone has till 09:00 GMT to vote for a lynching.

Roles have been sent out, the game has officially started.

It is now ***NIGHT PHASE***
Special Roles have till 19:00 GMT to send in their targets.

The following are the characters in this game. These have been allocated at random :
- 4 Mutineers (1 leader, 2 mutineers, 1 roleblocker)
- 1 Hyper-thermic sailor
- 1 Surgeon (pro-town)
- 1 Quartermaster (pro-town)
- 10 loyal pirates

= 17 players

- The mutineers will decide on one victim per night-phase. The leader of the mutineers has the final say in this, and has the responsibility to notify the game-moderators of the decision.

- The surgeon will choose a target whom he will protect. If the pirate chosen by the doctor is targeted by the mutineers or the hyperthermic sailor, he will be saved. If the surgeon targets the hyperthermic sailor he will be cured and become a loyal pirate. The surgeon can not target the same person two nights in a row.

- The quartermaster will investigate one crew-member every night-phase. If the target is pro-town he will learn their role. If the target is a mutineer, he will just discover their allignment.

- The hyper-thermic sailor has gone crazy over exposure to the sun and will attempt to kill one pirate every night phase.

- The mutineer roleblocker can target one crewmember, who will be unable to perform their nightly role. The roleblocker can not target the same person two nights in a row.

**** NIGHT PHASE ****
During the night phase the special roles perform their duties. They should always ingame message Rocky Balboa in 6737 AND Freakside in 6748 with their targets.

**** DAY PHASE - LYNCHING ****
During the day phase, the town will find out who has been murdered (not during the first day, obviously). All pirates (including the mutineers, the hyper-thermic sailor , the surgeon and the quartermaster) can then vote who they think are the mutineers. This is the lynching process. There will be a deadline to which the people must vote by. In the event of a draw, the lynching will be postponed by a couple of hours, allowing people to change their vote. If after the second deadline there still is a draw, there will be no lynching. Once the result are in, the chosen pirate will be keelhauled to death and their role will be revealed. The day-phase is over and the night phase begins.

**** WHO WINS? ****
The mutineers will win if they manage to kill everyone else off. The hyperthermic sailor wins if he is the last person alive, and the loyal pirates win if they manage to kill off all the mutineers and kill or heal hyperthermic sailor.

Everyone is allowed to post in the thread to discuss who they think are the mutineers or try to make themselves less suspicious. You may NOT quote any part of messages sent by the game moderators, either ingame, in e-mail or in IRC. Doing so is regarded as cheating and will result in your sudden death, and you will be banned from future games.

If anyone misses the lynching voting on 2 occasions, they will automatically be the next lynch-target.

If you die, the game is over for you and you are not permitted to discuss the game with any of the people still playing. Doing so will result in a ban from future games. Please don't spoil it for everyone else.

Due to the fact that Arsy is currently travelling along with the Justin Bieber world wide tour, Iluvatar and I have taken the responsibility of hosting this game.
The lack of the Arsyman however means we will not be able to use the old forums. Mafia will have a new forum, other roles can use ingame msg's or irc to contact the mods or have discussions.
