Here we go! I know it took a few days but i tried to give the other leaders a chance to reply to my questions. I didnt get as much feedback as i would of liked.

DISCLAIMER: This PvC is my opinion only. I try to base my predictions more on map location than on family personalitys. The rule change with alliances this round make a PvC a little more difficult. Who a family allys will change the outlook completely. The choice of allys can turn a pretender into a contender and vice versa.

So here it is....enjoy....

Like a G6 (4745)
LOCATION: Middle of sector 4
LEADER: Bryon
ATTACKERS: Fette, General Skulls, Bryon
BANKERS: Spyro, Aracolex, Kadaj
QUOTE FROM LEADER: nomnom
The remnants of 4703 from last round. Spyro and Bryon know how to run a good economy. They will get off to a good start. They are very close to 3 strong familys and establishing a large core will be difficult at best. Generalskulls is their most experienced attacker but will he be active enough to make them dangerous? A misstep in diplomacy may just cost this family a win.
My prediction: PRETENDER! I can see them finishing top 10 easily but i dont see them being able to keep up with their neighbor's attackers.
----------
OMG we rule! (4760)
LOCATION: Middle-East Sector 3
LEADER: At the moment Mizzle
ATTACKERS: Flipmode, Scorp
BANKERS: Mizzle, LordofAcid, DevinePlace
QUOTE FROM LEADER: Lets win
This family is dangerously close to 3 other contenders in sector 4. If these familys head west i fear that 60 will be a victim. Their attacking core is suspect as well as their leadership. Mizzle and Scorp have a tendency to disappear without notice. They have alot of room to their west if they can keep the other familys in sector 3 at bay.
My prediction: PRETENDER! A top 15 finish is what i see from them.
----------
playmates (4746)
LOCATION: Bottom of Sector 3
LEADER: snailex
ATTACKERS: aleph, artic, ocho, snailex, riking
BANKERS: pups, nandro, yamberetta, lord star
QUOTE FROM LEADER: we have a gr8 map spot and it will be a fun round
Their leader is correct, they do have a great map spot. 42 is their only close neighbor and they have the potential for a massive core. Ill assume Nandro is running their economy and that makes them dangerous. Artic and Aleph tend to be hotheads as attackers and there is nothing scarier than a well funded emo attacker. Last round Artic over explored and bit off more than he could chew by claiming an overly large core. Will it happen again?
My prediction: CONTENDERS! I can see them finishing in the top 5 easily if they can keep their emotions in check.
----------
Dont cha wish (4750)
LOCATION: top-west sector 4
LEADER: Galeonis
ATTACKERS: Wolfweress, fearless, Galeonis
BANKERS: Geterdone and some mystery guests
QUOTE FROM LEADER: 'take care of that for me please?'
Galeonis is a capable leader and attacker. I like his attacking crew but do they have what it takes to compete with their neighbors? They have alot of room to the north and only 47 stands in their way of dominating the sector border. If they can grow a good infra fast they could force their neighbors into an alliance or an early war. Sector 4 is a challenging place to be! tongue
My prediction: CONTENDER! Good diplomacy and infra will be paramount. If they fail to land a good ally they can easily be considered a pretender.
----------
Gods of MilkyWay (4756)
LOCATION: Bottom of sector 4
LEADER:LuStEr/Mark(Anubis)
ATTACKERS:LuSter,Templare,Khorinis and Nolio
BANKERS:Mark(Anubis),Tobias,Tico,Sephiroth and Marty
RESSERS: Metrex, R_Chie
QUOTE FROM LEADER: once you pop u can't stop
Mark is a very good leader even if hes a bit of a hothead. They have very capable bankers with alot of systems clustered near them. I expect them to have the top economy right away. Their attackers have the potential to be very good IF they can find a way to work together. Luster and Nolio in the same family? Have fun with that Mark!!
My prediction: CONTENDERS! The best spot in sector 4 with really good bankers makes this family dangerous.
----------
Angels & Demons (4753)
LOCATION: Top corner sector 1
LEADER: Lee
ATTACKERS: Lee, Elrohir, Portgas
BANKERS: Gekko, LewLew, PapaBear, Glenn, Gabriel
QUOTE FROM LEADER:
These guys have a fantastic location with lots of clustered systems nearby. This is a boon for a family with top notch bankers such as these. They will have a top 3 economy early on. I know im gonna blasted for what im about to say but....Lee is a very good attacker and leader IF he doesnt have a meltdown. They have 3 of the most experienced attackers in the game. You would be foolish to dismiss this family because Lee is leading.
My prediction: CONTENDER! Great map spot + solid roleplayers = top 3 at least.
----------
EVIL Dictators. FTW!! (4748)
LOCATION: Middle of sector 2
LEADER: Apple
ATTACKERS: Kagar, I am somebody, Razor82, kuijjer, ruislip, tigerblood
BANKERS: Apple, Frenzy, Empire of ants
QUOTE FROM LEADER: 'Without blueberry pie the tree will not search for candles without sunglasses because of red and it's serious case of butterflies.'
This family has a really good map spot. Too good if you ask me. The clustered familys of sector 4 are gonna push into their area and i dont see these guys being able to hold them off. Unless Apple is misleading me, this family is WAY attacker heavy. Their bankers are suspect only because there are so few of them. They will need a solid ally to help them defend what could be a massive core.
My prediction: PRETENDERS! So few bankers, so much space tongue
----------
EVIL People. FTW!! (4766)
LOCATION: Top of sector 2
LEADER: StevenSeagal
ATTACKERS:HeKenZo/ forevah
BANKERS: psychological/ StevenSeagal/selkie
QUOTE FROM LEADER: "Here we go..... Banzaiiiii!!!"
Im not familiar with these names with the exception of Forever. Hes a decent attacker and if his bankers can keep him funded i can see good things from him. Their map location is very decent and they could have a large core. Their close proximity to 53 and 56 isnt good for them. They need a good ally to help keep their core clean. Otherwise they will get overran by 53 and 56, or both!
My prediction: PRETENDERS!
----------
Killer Klowns From Outer Space (4752)
LOCATION: southwest corner sector 4
LEADER:KK Rebelzombie
ATTACKERS:KK Die Humans, KK Phantom,KK Slim, fruit,
BANKERS:KK Rebelzombie, Alpha Omega, KK Sol Ivictus
QUOTE FROM LEADER: We may be small but we have old time experience that will take us a long way.
Im not familiar with most of these players so i will speak about their location, which is pretty good. Their closest nieghbor, 41 is a farm so no worrys there but they are in deadly sector 4. They have 51 and 56 to deal with both of which are strong contenders. This family has alot of room to grow if they can work a good diplomacy game with their neighbors.
My prediction: PRETENDERS! This could easily change to contenders if they ally 51 or 56.
----------
All Filler No Killer (4764)
LOCATION: northwest corner sector 3
LEADER: Minor Threats
ATTACKERS: Minor Threats, Nox, Nhill, Amsterdam, NIVEKYPPANS
BANKERS: 2Moons, Earth Mover
QUOTE FROM LEADER:'We're gonna ... This Round is ... I ... San Dimas High School Football Rules!'
I havent heard of most of these players, sorry. Nox and Amsterdam are capable attackers. Lets see how their bankers do. Hopefully this family doesnt waste a kick ass map location. Familys from sector 4 and beyond will try to establish secondary cores near them and i doubt they will be able to keep them from doing so.
My prediction: PRETENDERS! Top 15-20 finish at best.
----------
Family (4747)
LOCATION: top of sector 4
LEADER: HydroP
ATTACKERS: HydroP, sgtsummers, Blue, glennvw
BANKERS: Hellraizer, IC Death, easylink, SOL
QUOTE FROM LEADER: "Went away from huge names with drafts this round. Wanted activity and good teamwork. Have just that"
This family has a decent attacking line up as well as very decent bankers. Hydrop is a solid leader and i expect good things from this family. The only negative about this family is their location in sector 4. Diplomacy will determine this family's success as there are other contenders close by. If they choose the wrong ally it could be disastrous for them.
My prediction: CONTENDER!! Hydrop is too smart to ally the wrong family.
----------
The Fudgehs! (4751)
LOCATION: Middle-east of sector 4
LEADER: Arby3
ATTACKERS:h4e, Needle, Fudgeh, Reechani, Gratitude, Forever, Kikora
BANKERS:Arby3, Electric, Rogue
QUOTE FROM LEADER: 4751 ftw!
This family is in it to win it! Arby3 is a very good leader that knows how to survive when surrounded by good familys. Hc4e is one of the best attackers playing. You give him a good economy and he is nearly unstoppable. Im sure they will be aggressive and take out a nearby contender early on turning their bad location into a good thing.
My prediction: CONTENDER!! This is the family to watch out for!!
----------
We R Noobs (4755)
LOCATION: Middle of sector 3
LEADER: Banzai (I R White Obama)
ATTACKERS: I R Black Cherry, I R teh one
BANKERS: I R inactive, I R Colossol Damage, I R Emor
QUOTE FROM LEADER: "Family started off a little slow activity wise. But it's gotten better and will hopefully prove to be a good round. Time will tell. First time leading after a long, long vacation from it."
A family of mystery players with the exception of Banzai. They have one of the best map locations in the galaxy. They have a vast area to explore right in the heart of sector 3. If they ally 64 they could easily dominate the sector. Their attackers are gonna have to be vigilant on core defense.
My Prediction: PRETENDERS!! Too much area do defend.
----------
~Video Game Relics~ (4743)
LOCATION: Middle-east sector 4
LEADER: AA
ATTACKERS: AA, Serenity, DeathRider
BANKERS: Munder, RisingDown, gayice, schniepel, stunner, glue
QUOTE FROM LEADER: "Im looking forward to having a fun round attacking as a camaar. We have a solid family if we stay active"
My family is surrounded by contenders. Im pretty sure we have the worst map location in all of Milky Way. If we get a good ally our spot isnt so bad. Munder is pro at banking and im confident about our economy. If we avoid costly early wars i think we will do pretty good.
My prediction: CONTENDERS!! Only if we land a strong ally.
----------
Wiwi is bringing the pain (4757)
LOCATION: Middle-east sector 4
LEADER: A-Team
ATTACKERS: WiWi, A-Team, Gaheris
BANKERS: Nightmare
QUOTE FROM LEADER:(none)
I like this family's attackers IF they remain active. They have a nice area around them to explore but 56, 53 and 45 are close. Both 56 and 45 will want to head in their direction. I have a bad feeling that their core will be a war zone for 56 and 53 if they dont ally. Im dont see this family being able to compete with all those attackers.
My prediction: PRETENDERS!!

**The following familys didnt respond to my questions. They will be short**

Who in the blue hell are you? (4762)
LOCATION: South west corner sector 1
QUOTE FROM LEADER: "The Rock will tell you what you can do with your PvC. Buy a tube of KY Jelly, shine that PvC real nice, turn that sumbitch sideways and stick it straight up your CANDY ASS!"
As you can see i didnt get a straight answer from these guys, that being said....
they have a decent spot but could be in trouble if their neighbors 44,49,54 and 65 all decide to ally. Their only hope is to ally 58 or another family close to them. Not sure who is attacking or banking so who knows what they are capable of.
My prediction: PRETENDERS!! They are fake, just like wrestling tongue
----------
PrettyInPink (4749)
LOCATION: South west corner sector 1
LEADER: Counterstrike
I dont know anyone else but CS in this family and shes banking. Thats a good sign as shes very good at running an economy. 44 is 1 tick away and i have a feeling they will ally or at the very least NAP. They will need to contend with 62 to the north and the possible alliance of 54 and 65.
My prediction: PRETENDERS!! If she has good attackers i can see them in the top 15 at least.
----------
Universe (4765)
LOCATION: South east corner of sector 1
These guys could ally 54 and together they could be a force to be reckoned with...assuming they have decent attackers. There is alot of prime real estate to the north east of both familys. They could have a big core if they defend it properly.
My prediction: CONTENDERS!! If they have decent players to capitolize on their location i wouldnt be surpised to see them in the top 10.
----------
Serial Killerz (4758)
LOCATION: Middle of sector 1
LEADER: Dbudd
BANKERS: Edge
If these guys dont ally someone in their sector their prime location could be overrun early. 2 possible alliances are just south of them. I hope their attackers are up to the challenge of defending their cores from a possible 2v1.
My Prediction: PRETENDERS!!
----------
Famous GAYS ! watch your back (4754)
LOCATION: South east corner sector 1
They have some nice system clusters and a family free area south of them. An alliance with 65 would give them easy reign over a vast area in sector 3. Sector 4 familys might be headed their way. Be interesting to see who they ally, even though i think the choice is obvious.
My prediction: CONTENDERS!! If they ally 65 and have decent players i can see them in the top 10.
----------
(4742) - no name yet
LOCATION: North east corner sector 1
Hmm...no name and 7 revalons. This tells me they are disorganized and not active enough to figure out races and roles. At least they have a leader tongue
This family is a farm. 46 will take over their core early on.
My prediction: PRETENDER!!
----------
The Simpsons (4763)
LOCATION: Lower sector 2
I see HUNDID in there banking, and hes good. But not good enough to help this band of relative no names. Less than half the family has a name to match their theme. You know what that means. Its a shame too, they have a good map spot. The familys on the west side of sector 1 will probably invade their cores if 59 doesnt.
My prediction: PRETENDERS!!
----------
Nothing is what it seems (4759)
LOCATION: South East corner sector 2
Kenpachi is the only player i can identify in this family. I dont see alot of hope for these guys. Too many top familys are just too close to them. Maybe they ally 63 and put up a decent fight to protect their core but in the long run they will succumb.
My Prediction: PRETENDERS!!
----------
Frigging Awesome Gamers (4744)
LOCATION: South west corner sector 1
LEADER: OOC
Another small family of relative no names players. They have 49 a tick away and it would be to their advantage to ally these guys. Maybe a 44/49 alliance could be successful in sector 1, but im not gonna hold my breath. They will get taken down in the long run.
My Prediction: PRETENDERS!!
----------
(4741)
LOCATION: South west corner sector 4
No name, no leader no chance!! These poor bastards are in stuck in a sector with too many good familys. They are food for 52 and 56.
My Prediction: PRETENDERS!!
----------
Haha! (4761)
LOCATION: Middle sector 1
I think this is Undeath and DYT's family. I see Hummy in there too. This family wont be able to defend their good map location. 53 and 62 will be all over them if they cant find a good ally. I can see them being annoying with ops and spells if you mess with them though. Better make sure you have properly defended bankers before you mess with them.
My prediction: PRETENDERS!! Fun family, but not contender material.

converting from CF to pop isnt neccesary if you have enough CF bankers to support your start. If you have 5 bankers you can have one of them start with pop easily. No need to convert really. Just get them 7 TOs and some transports. Pass them planets to get more pop growing.

a player pool has to be considered. There was way too much multi and illegal drafting going on.

and whats with the huge fam sizes? more players = more eships which = easier win.

We havent had an ICPG style draft for well over a year now. I think it would be fun to do another one again. I think it makes sense for KOTH rules.

The few we have left are tolerant and patient. Ive been around 11 years now and ive seen alot of sexual harrasement from the sex starved nerds that play this game. They get asked for pics and PM'd with sex talk all the time. Id leave too if i were them.

Show them some respect and maybe they will stick around for a while big_smile

'waste' being the key word there. Yea it doesnt cost a whole lot to actually use it. What if you fail? You just sacrificed X amount of units for what? There is no such thing as 'random strategy'. Read Sun Tzu's 'Art of War'.

Its not that hard to figure out it was fake regardless of my proposed change. We still have the ability to think about what was done, why it was done and the motivation behind the 'framed empire' for doing those ops. Is it not the responsibility of the victimized empire to react in an intelligent manner? if it happened to me ill build more wizards. Ill contact the family that was framed and discuss the situation. I could just freak out and declare war, but is that the smart way to handle a few ops?

I think it will add a fun new element to the game as far as relations are concerned. I hope it does fool more people. Im all for chaos and confusion. I would love to see this new and improved op start a few wars. I beleive thats the spirit behind GFI/PFI's true purpose. As it stands right now, it is as you said..... a waste.
