"WFS - I love the taste of Heineken. = think it is by far one of the best beers I have ever tried, I was merely pointing out that if a beer tastes semi decent and can get one drunk, I am happy."

Then you have no right to criticize the beers I listed, like you did. Nor could you argue that Heineken or whatever piss you listed is better then others (especially those french ones), filistine X(

"WFS, we all have our tastes. Heineken, budeweiser and other taste just fine to me. I'm not a picky little twat to the point where it has to be perfect. I'm a man FFS, if it tastes semi decent and can get me drunk, I'm a happy camper.
(and WFS, my tolerance to alcohol is amazing. I'm sure I could knock back a few of those sissy beers and be just skippy tongue)"

Years of practice and experience tells me that heavy belgian beers are something you have to adapt to, even if you know your way around boozing. I'd say, get them, and drink them, you'll notice they're not like the beers you know..
But the point is that beer isn't just to get drunk on, but that it tastes a lot better. Wasn't the point of the whole bloody thread to list the best ones? Then you just pointed out that I was right. You don't really care about the taste, as long as it gets you drunk....

"Sam: I'm gonna disagree with Steve on this one. Stella Ar-TOYZ (sorry, couldn't resist) does indeed taste better than Heineken, which always has that ghastly skunked smell and flavor. Now that's not saying a whole lot; drainage ditch water probably tastes better than Heineken. Still, I thought the Stella was a good clean honest lager. Nothing to grab your taste buds and kick 'em in the shins, but a decent beer nonetheless."

I never claimed that other beers couldn't be better, but it's a decent one. When we're talking about really good beers, I'd like to refer to my first post.. Although, they probably cost you a small fortune down there tongue

"WFS, how do you know that History is correct?  there are many historical beliefs who heavily rely on the interpretation of the same history books.  And how do you know that Science is correct?  there are many scientific beliefs who heavily rely on the interpretation of the same science books.  And how do you know that Math is correct?

you see where I'm going with this, right?  That is how your argument sounds..."

>> History never uses history books to interprete the past. They use sources. And indeed, there's a lot of discussion going on about historical facts, but those are about "details" when you consider the world's history. At least there's a well reasoned idea behind a interpretation, backed with facts.

I always wondered where believers stopped following science..
For example, biology. I think it's safe to assume both believers and non-believers agree that it's not a scam and that it really contributed to our society. Out of biological knowledge, medication was introduced to the world, wich both believers and non-believers believe to be working (well, I don't see people use pages from the bible anymore to dure a disease tongue). Then we have DNA again something that's proven to exist etc. I do think believers accept the existance of DNA and how the genetic code of our offspring is formed. Now, with all these facts, how on earth is it possible to deny the evolutiontheory, wich so many believers denounce? Is there really a line where they say: "from here, we stop believing in science"? Really, the equasion isn't that hard to make tongue

"Nope, your the first and only person WFS."

My point is still valid.

Stella Artois > Heineken

You should be able to find that one too. Stella isn't the best beer around (at least not over here), but it's decent at least. And it's a lot better then Heineken, fo sho! tongue

"I'll have to agree with TheYell on that one WFS. If I dared walk into a bar and orderer a drink with a name like that, I'd a) have to grab my balls to insure myself they are still there and b) feel like a big fat bitch yikes"

Drink one or two of their large bottles and we'll see how much of a man you are afterwards tongue I'm guessing it'll smack you in the face, viciously. Despite having a french name, it's a great tasting beer and is quite strong. Your shortmindedness on this area is just mindblowing...

"Heineken is the greatest beer known to man, you obviously have no taste what so ever and the names of the beers listed WFS scares me yikes"

Our country may only be a piss wide, but we make the finest of them all. Read any beersite, and you'll notice they list all of my beers way higher then the horse piss you drink DD.
Obviously, you and your country (like the yell said) have absolutely no idea how beer should taste, filistine tongue

Yesterday, I had quite some classes, and when I took the train home it was already 7 pm. I rejoiced with the thought of being able to read for 35 minutes in a great book in this normally very quiet and relaxing train.
That would be bliss, unfortunatly, 2 guys and 1 girl sat in the seats in front of me. The girl was a complete airhead. Instead of talking, she yelled away about the most silly subjects, and laughing demonicly hard (this is the loudest I ever heard anyone laugh). It almost made me kill her with my fountain pen.

Another thing that grinded my gears just before that was this:
I had a class, a quite interesting one, but in  a terrible classroom. Picked a chair somewhere in the middle (I don't really know any people in that class). And when I just unpacked my stuff, some asshole came to me and asked if I could move a seat or 2 so that his friends could sit on the seats behind him. So, as a gentle lad, I did so. Later on, he turned around and asked if I could move another seat. That would mean I had to repack and unpack again. So I told him to shove it X(

There's a something like Europol, managing contacts between pliceforces of different European members. But indeed, a unified policeforce would be a good thing. But before we are able to do such a thing, we'll need a unified lawbook. Or a system like in america, with departments that can do things over the national borders..

However, we can be sure that the UK would reject such a proposition. Their policeforce has a total different background and they're known to be rather sceptical about european propositions...

A unified European Army would surely be a great thing as well.

None of you managed to mention decent beers tongue Heineken is Human piss with alcohol in it. Foster's quite the same and don't get me started on Carling. My favourite beers are: Chimay Blauw, Orval, Duvel, Karmeliet, La Chouffe, Brugse Zot and Rochefort. Those are good beers, you should try them once.. You'll notice that what you've drank before is nothing compared to that..

When I want some Liquor, I'd go for a Amaretto, Grand Marnier or Bushmills' whiskey..
