Doesn't work. It was abolished with the bretton-woods accords cause it had become highly inefficient.
And it would certainly collapse your economy too. People will be made redundant and lose their homes etc. What your gouvernment needs to do is starting up some good old Keynesian projects!

That's a good point to argue about too. The USA's political area is dominated by the industry who support one of 2 parties. Without being part of one of those parties, your political carreer is nill. Since the industry is supporting those parties so well, it's only natural that their prefered and skilled candidates become the top of the party, and get a chance to become part of the established government..
No, everyone would not feel the need to do anything else. They'd feel morally obliged to do the right thing and help eachother. Thus: bakunist dictatorship!

Yes, and thank you for doing it! However, it should be noted that both things were done mostly because North America needed (and needs) Europe as a trading partner.

That's horrible, indeed. But war in general is horrible. American questioning techniques are, Israelian attacks on Palestina are, American bombs with uranium heads (to be more penetrant in buildings) are a disgrace, suicide bombing is horrid, etc. The thing is that making more war triggers the baddest in humans, and invading Iran, will do too. If you don't invade them, those children won't be sacrificed. What the West should learn is that they're not the world's police. What we should do, is offer an alternative (democracy, respect for life and rights etc.), and support and protect groups striving for those morales with everything we can. Iran is an improving country, give it some time until the people there are ready to overthrow or change their government...
I'm not urging to do nothing, but war is not the answer in this situation. If you'd invade it, people will radicalize and turn against the Americans (as in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.). I hope they'd realise that by now...

Indeed, all European languages are Indo-European languages, with the exceptions of Estonian, Magyar and Finnish (Even Basque is indo-european!)..

Esperanto is heavily based on indo-european languages (it uses their gramatic structures etc.). Other language groups (like austro-asian) will have it a lot harder to learn it.

I wouldn't really call it "occupied" (at least, not most of them). I'm making a study round the subject this year at uni (although, it's about the burgundian netherlands), and without going into detail: There's a significant difference between being occupied and having an external monarch.
Well, with this cleared out, I think the rules are made as such because it allows some interpretation for the intention and the nature of the nudity. I don't think David's a disgrace or unfitting for IC. It's everywhere anyway. It's not tasteless porn, and I don't see any difference with any other sculpture or piece of art I could put up... David doesn't shock people, it's a celebration of mankind..
Besides, why do people fear a naked penis so much? It is an integral part of half the world's population's body you know....
