Pop banking 3rd time lucky this round?

1) We won convincingly.  We're not biased - we just vote for who we really think win in these categories.
2) Doesn't help that about 50% of the nominations so far, are from people in 1750.
3) I like how you troll, as oppose to putting in nominations yourself.

1. Best Leader:  Whiteshadow 1750.  Did a brilliant job for 80% of the round picking up what me and Genesis had started.

2. Best Diplomat:  WinME/55 - "PNAP me or I op you."

3. Best Attacker:  Rizzy 1750!  Would have like to see more from you in terms of attacking people on parr (with fleet/funding/etc).  But we dominated so much with position/infra/whatever that noone had put up any captures.  But you were active 100% of the round, from start to finish and were consistent in taking the most most years.  Great job!

4. Best Banker:  BoBbb 1750.  Hated his overenthusiasm at times, and his race selection.  But I wish all bankers that played for me had his drive for more planets.  Makes attackers life much easier.

5. Best Resourcer:  TigerWoods/Daewoo 1750 - Dedicated.  Learned that from last round and was happy when he was a random in 1750 this round.

Worst Draft:  Elbe 1728 (And for those of you nominating Genesis.  He had some rl issues, so went inactive.  But the amount of stuff he did in the first 2 weeks, far outweighs most of the players that played the whole round.  Thanks to him, me and whiteshadow, the round was won in those first 2 weeks.)

10. Most honorable player: Whiteshadow.  It's unbelieveable the leniency he shows.  Only visible if you're in his alliance, and if he's dealing with you as an outsider.

26. Best strategy of the round:  1750 securing a crazy 'core' early in explo.  Noone can contend with my camaar speed - rawr!

27. Worst mistake of round:  Not putting up a fight against 1750.  We're not that good or unbeatable.  You just need persistence and eventually it doesnt become worthwhile for us to fight you.  Just perservere - you'd get there.

First one being the cool bonuses one

His bankers havn't lost the planets either. And it's because...

...Even though he ridicules us for our methods (as opposed to his method of just bashing small fams for all their planets), its actually HIS bankers that hide in OUR (1750's) core.

Rain is right.  This was over in the first 2 weeks, when we fought for, and easily won the huge territory near us.

Noone challenged us at that time, and throughout the round noone did either.  Only a little bit of skirmish (territorial) with 42 in the beginning was worth anything.  The rest was just trivial and redundant.

Position had a lot to do with it but not as much as having 4 active attackers (Genesis, whiteshadow, rizzy and myself) in the beginning and then hardcore4eva to replace Gen when he went inactive.

The territory meant we could easily grab of people and just easily continue to grow while others fought in their own cores.

This round was won a long time ago.
