OK so, we got a Los Angeles "pain ray" that fires invisible heat rays at people that gives burning pain without actually burning

and we got this laser charging stuff

I bet a big enough plane could act as a laser power relay

so

we put it all together

an armored car with electric batteries for the motive power and the turret
and a separate capacitor recharged by laser for the pain cannon
a robot armored car with pain ray

and we build it in the shape of a Dalek

"McCain and other opponents of the program have seized on the fact that the Navy paid more than $26 a gallon for the biofuels it purchased for this week's Green Fleet demonstration, compared with less than $4 a gallon for convention fuel.
The Navy has noted that the 50-50 mix of biofuel and petroleum-based fuels, formulated as a "drop-in" blend requiring no modification to aircraft or ship engines, cost a combined $15 a gallon. Most of the biofuel half of the mixture, about 90 percent, was rendered from cooking oil waste. The other 10 percent was refined from algae."

the reason you don't boil water in an oven is the oven would heat the water by heating all the air around the water much hotter than the boiling point of water.  It's much faster to put the pot on the stovetop and heat the pot--the pot transmits the heat right to the water more efficiently than surrounding air.

it is ridiculous to say the upper levels of the earth's oceans are being heated by the air above them.  heard the one about boiling ice water?  You know how hot you'd have to get the sky, first?  So no, NO thermal energy gets trapped in the atmosphere by greenhouse gas pollution, and is then transferred ( underwear:???:profit) to water.

Either the same solar radiation that heats the air passes through into the sea and heats that at the same rate --most unlikely since air would heat faster than the sea- pot of water in the oven --

or

if the sea and sky heat at roughly the same rate -- the earth is heating up from the inside out, and the sea is heating the air above it.  Pollution, nuthin, you're talking more energy than we generate industrially since, ever.

as all opposition to the idea was based in religion, it's discriminatory and beyond the scope of legislatures to enact!

shaddap Spock, I'm earning biologiical reward points.

I've only heard one other source for the idea of biological rewards from govt to favored citizens:

General "Buck" Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Ambassador de Sadesky: I must confess, you have an astonishingly good idea there, Doctor.
