Obviously its what you are exposed to. Many five percenters started out being Christians. People have their own personal reasons not confined to "fear of death, lonelyness, unhappyness etc". It isnt completely irrational as what many athiests contend. People respond to the same thing in different ways, possibly certain behavioural attributes are more susceptible to believing in a faith. People can be sheep, and organised religion may suit them. Some people act like evolution is more valid than religion, but really it isnt. Its a way of life choice, which essentially doesnt really matter.
Personally I would say I am agnostic. I believe in the world of conincidences.
