Sorry for going inactive on you guys during the challenge

Reading this thread and knowing a couple of people in this fam (including Gary) I would just like to say this.

Its not their fault. I know 90% of people bashing them here would stay in a top fam, even if they didnt personally get along with the leader.

Unless your fam is dishonorable to the point other fam members are complaining, deleting due to personal disagreements is the cowardly way out. The real world does not work that way and IC should not either.

Also, the two best players (even though they may have been dicks, Gary and Anubis ARE good) would delete once you take leadership or go rogue on them by force (even good leaders wouldnt take it too well if the people they helped early in the round tried to take away control from them as soon as things got a bit rough). For the sake of not wasting months of their time, they, and most other people, would have stuck it out.

I understand people who will still attack 663 for easy planets (cheap but legitimate) but I dont understand people who try to justify those actions by blaming the remaining fam members. You are either hypocrites or delusional.

To be very honest, Lethal is also probably one of the best bankers in the game .

Ofcourse, Im not saying that any fam with glue in it could ever be amazing (glue kindof adds negative points to whichever team hes playing on [saying this with all love to glue]). I was basically saying that they can call themselves Smirnoff if these players are there. We have to take into account that these guys have played with each other more rounds a third of IC has played period. Which improves co-ordination plus they help each other out.

And I cant comment on Andro ranks tbh. Im far too out of touch with the game plus I have no clue who are the players in most of these fams. Before I could generally tell who were the core players in top fams by observing start strats for 2 days (most layers have their own distinctive style) but I dont even know who a lot of the good players are anymore

Now that we have these fake Andro blablabla threads, the Hive kindof becomes more of a lounging spot than an actual galaxy discussion. Yet we can keep it ALIVE!

Arch- Smirnoff hasnt needed KB to win quite a few rounds. Basically any family with a combination of Lethal, Valenka, Piggy, Llamaland, Andrew, Dangerous etc can call themselves Smirnoff. And I think everyone knows that attackers or bankers can be replaced as long as the fam has the same spirit.

P.S- Nice to know Valenkah and Let00l are still playing .

Edit- I love how easy it is to look at ranks and know which fams are going to do well .

Ive generally come home while drunk and logged onto IC...

A lot of people have recieved totally incoherent messages, generally with me saying how drunk I am, and Ive landed up demolishing 30 planets worth of infra and blew up 20 planets I was supposed to be taking on different occasions.

IRL though, nothing much really... Ive woken up in places and not known how Ive got there and apparently once I called the ambulance for a friend who had been throwing up for a few hours straight and I absolutely have no recollection of making the call... Talking to the meds and other sober people I talked to the next day, apparently, they could barely tell I was drunk... Just kinda swayey... Seems Im a fairly good drunk

Thats the thing... I dont break it down so widely personally... Like Manowar would be Power metal for me (for example). And Nightwish would go under something a lot more general (like Melodic) instead of any of Fantasy/Pagan/Folk etc (whatever the super hardcore) would like to categorize it under. Or lets say, I consider Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Iron Maidens music to be the same type of metal, HEAVY METAL. Even though people would place these bands in multiple categories...

So basically, death (for me) is very technical music and growling vocals. Black is even more technical and again growling (grunting etc also included. Basically anything hard to understand by a casual listener). The lyrics dont necessarily need to talk about death etc. There are some exceptions (like Ive never considered Slayer death even though they fit the description...).

So im guessing over a third of the types of Metal you mentioned go under Black and Death for me.

Keyword, of course, is for me. If other people like to have super specific genres for their metal, good for them.

Gondor- A lot of players still humor the small players unless they become extremely annoying. I remember just a few rounds ago (when I was last playing) I pretty much always used to get attack/hypno/nuke attempts from players in small fams (likely n00bs). Generally a message asking them to stop and face no retaliation was enough. Even if some planets and fleet were lost, (or some ops connected) we generally wouldnt cause too much havok...

Maybe take the planets back and a few extra (like 4 or 5) and asked them to stop or we continue etc...

nah... 777 has Oscar and Psyclone who are great bankers. I can be discounted due to inactive rusty n00b etc
