Buildings are essential to your empire. Buildings increase the value of your planets radically, and are one of the keys to success. Each building costs 1 gc maintenance per week.



Laser
Defence-only weapons that can add significantly to the defence of a planet. Each Laser can shoot down up to 10 transports and bombers.

This facility works independent from your other scientists, and adds 20 research points each week.

Portal
Between two planets with Portals, transportation is instantaneous. A Planet with a Portal is also defended by your Main Fleet.
Note that while building a portal its counted as a building, as soon as its finished it no longer is seen as a building.

Increases taxation on the planet through magical means. For every percent of your total number of buildings that are Tax Offices, your income is increased 2%. They are only available for certain races.
