Not really. She's paid to sit her at her desk, not to be in bed.

Yell: beating someone is admitting you failed to communicate. Hence it accomplishes nothing but imposing your view. Would you be surprised if I told you kids take it to the streets because of beaters rather than talkers? I think a slap or two is acceptable, just can't be standard.

BW: Totally missed it yikes Is that being campaigned for? Sex contents in kindergarden is pushing it tongue Got a link?

No idea, but I want one of those pins big_smile

Teachers are not supposed to help students have sex. If they do it they should be severely punished. The goal is to inform and educate, not to facilitate sexual intercourse. Besides, don't you think kids ask their teachers about these things already? I worked at a school last year as a member of a NGO and all Sciences teachers told me they got drilled with sex related questions in their classes. It's amazing you think this subject can be kept as a taboo.

And if you think the best way to raise kids if to beat them up... hmm

Just another curiosity I stumbbled upon, taken from the New York Times:

"Since taking office in 2007, Ms. Palin has spent 312 nights at her Wasilla home, some 600 miles to the north of the governors mansion in Juneau, records show.

During the last legislative session, some lawmakers became so frustrated with her absences that they took to wearing Wheres Sarah? pins.

Many politicians say they typically learn of her initiatives

BW, I do agree parents should be responsible in and for their children's education. Regardless of what classes they take at school, parents will always be the ones who hold their children up to the values and morals they pass upon them.

That's not what Sex Ed is about. Sexual Education is about letting the young adolescents know of the dangers they face when they have sex. You know as well as I do that kids all over the world are starting their sexual life much earlier than ten years ago, and it doesn't look like it'll stop anytime soon. The idea is not to encourage them further, it is make sure that if they choose to do it, then at least they do it safely and fully aware of what might happen.

There is no way you can conceal sex from kids anymore. They have internet, and if you don't then they will see it at some friend's. If what you mean by raising your children is making them fear sex, then it won't work well at all. You can tell them what you think and the way you'd like them to handle it, but you can't stop them from knowing about it. It's that simple.

If you think that's a socialist approach(?), I guess. I'm just looking at reality.

Isn't it McSame? I get more confused by the day

Do you think any teacher lecturing sexual education will say it's ok to get pregnant, unless it's actually planned and accepted?

Or are your Sex Ed contents screwed up yikes

Wouldn't it be ok if you did your job as a parent and have school help you do it as well?

While you may think you know everything and feel extremely confident in your awareness, it's a good thing to let others into your life and that of your family so you can have a more broadening view of the situation(s).

Or is that a threatning predicament?

What about when you have to lie to protect your president? hmm

I think everyone is antecipating poor McSame's passing. Are you all so eager to get rid of him, reppublicans more than democrats even? tongue

We want Tommy K!

We love too though Benny tongue

It is as stupid as the notion that America would go to war with Russia.

A non-story made by leftist media over a non-statement made by a right-wing airhead.

Sounds good to me.

Hahaha tongue He had to be thinking "Oh shit" when he saw the guy in the wheelchair tongue

LOL at Joe Biden tongue well, even though I don't agree with the general tone as it looks too inflamatory, he's just calling it like he sees it it: demagogs everywhere

lol yell i honestly doubt Biden would say that in so many words tongue link?

I think Obama is a brilliant individual and will throw out as many punches at Palin as possible before the debates, where he will then proceed to dismantle McCain's new message of "change". At the same time, he'll have opened the door for Biden to come out well in his debate with Palin, as she will probably be on the offensive after all the remarks made about her.

What republicans failed to realise is that while gving Palin a huge amount of attention was good as she was a fresh face, a woman and a conservative, it was also bad as it would expose her way too much. Now all her tidbits will be explored to the maximum byt the democrat camp and if nothing changes quickly, she'll be nothing more than a punching bag.
