If you want to play no drafts, go to pinwheel. I mainly have vip to play with at least SOME good players, i have payed for this priviledge. partially agree with awexome ... cf is now as dangerous as pop, but witk less turnover. This thread just got nuked by the 'improvements' that were implemented.

Yes, but defenses cost money, and cf allready makes way lower income than a popbanker. Until now, pop had larger turnover but was riskier to play due to the chance of getting depopped. Now they both have the risk of getting hit hard with magic, but pop still has the larger turnover. End result : cf banking just became useless.

and @kollop : indeed, but you usually never got hit by a pax - they wouldnt waste their limited ops on killing a few % of your research to drop even smaller amounts of income. So you only needed protecting from non-specialists (like attackers with kill science magic op), so you didnt need huge amounts of wizzies. If a pax targetted your research anyways, you thanked the gods he wasnt killing your fam's iron, or your popbanker.
