well, though my fam has been in the same position as hooker's all round, i dont think we've cried up till now ... what DOES make me shake my head is peeps from 99 going 'dont be a sore loser, fight back'. We did, you guys started infiltrating our cores with attacks (not explos) and by opping our popbankers, but if we hit your precious girl banker for a couple planets, you refuse to talk nap rest of round, promising us that 'we'd get that back'. So, we dont whine, we try to fight back and not be sore losers, and we get the 'we'll kill you coz you fight back' treatment. Dunno bout anyone else, but THAT is why smaller fams dont fight back anymore in my opinion, instead of respect for at least trying, you get abuse and your round gets screwed. If you cant win and cant fight back, there's only one more thing to do : whine in forums and give up.

i'll go with noir on this one ... for many of us its not about the joy of finding new ways to do things anymore. Add to that that almost everyone with serious experience has allready won a couple rounds, you also lose motivation ... you know you can win, just depends on how active rl allows you to be and what fam you end up in. So you dont have to prove anything anymore, its more like a race not to get beaten too hard than to actually win. Anyways, several new races, a few new units and some more spells/ops would really help out to mix things up again.

Okies first off, its only one attacker and his small sidekick that are having some fun it seems ... and theyre fighting 3 fams that - put together - did have more nw than us. Most of our resources are definitely not being used as im sitting on them And most of our attackers are totally inactive. That said, i still dont think all that an excuse for what they're doing ... but since one of m is the leader, and rest of us couldnt care less anymore so wont change votes, theres nothing to be done about it ... colo can have his fun for all i (and most of us) care. All i can say is, try fighting back, ive heard it works.
