just to pleasure noir (so he doesnt have to do it himself and goes blind) ...

91 got attacked by 02 and 92 while at war with 01, full fleetruns on both main attackers, so you could, if you wish, call it a rape. 04 (91's allies) then napped 89, and jumped 92. 02 cancelled nap on 04 in response.

We are now waiting on 89 and 03 to jump 92/02/91/04 ... make it a global free-for-all so to speak smile

geeze i disagree with tensai, lets have MORE vultures ... chances are they'll start fighting each other over the spoils, considering how many there are allready big_smile

since we're still at war with 01, that makes it a 3 vs 1. Still, we're not gonna roll over and die big_smile this is the move that'll cost you the round guys wink

today he (arganon) managed to accuse us (91) of vulturing. So yes, we kicked him out of a system. Still begs the question how we were able to hit him since they are way below 35% of our nw ... unless someone that isnt all too bright attacked us first, and then, when we retake, starts yelling 'vultures' smile just a funny story ... smile

not a life lesson, but at least him too will feel bad, if only to a degree. I agree with pit here, you dont make remarks about people's relatives or whatever, you never know if youre saying something that really hurts. Actually, dont make personal remarks whatsoever, except with people you know, in good spirit. Otherwise you do have it coming, and i hope pit makes an example out of this guy.

oh and on the marking peeps inactive : yes metrex, seriously. Dunno (untested) if it makes a difference at real low planet counts, but for as far as i know, the only time it lowers morale is when killing off inactive, the attack on home planet is free.

i can confirm that, we did some tests years ago with peeps with exactly same number of planets, and took their planets with guys with exactly same number of planets, one was marked inactive, other wasnt ... result was exactly the same.

whats the poor donkey ever done to you eh? big_smile

i would tend to disagree ... nap stated that, in case of 2vs1 with your allies, nap would be voided. It did not state that it then gave you the !option! to void it, nor that you could cancel in a lower timeframe, just that it would be void. According to the other thread (91 vs 89) your allies confirmed a 2vs1. Thus, the nap is void. A voided nap does not exist anymore. How can you break a nap that doesnt exist? Insofar the legal mumbojumbo.

I wont say it was a nice thing to do, but it WAS, according to nap conditions, correct. We have been expecting you guys to hit us with all you have for days now, and wouldnt have complained if you did. Ah well, no matter the circumstances ... have a good one.

V-mode is good for SS, people in lower ranked fams and so on who are actually going on a holiday. It's not coz some topfams abuse the feature that we should cancel it. IC isnt all about the top fams, no matter what most posting here would like to think.

Though you are kinda mistaken on people in 91 being 'new' (2 mods, one pre-beta, 2 others with 10y experience etc), and remo being here (he's in 04), i agree that it IS a fun fam to be in smile The core group has been together for a couple rounds now and has a ton of fun together, and we try to make it as welcoming for the others as we can. Honestly, though we dont do bad, we barely care if we end first or not, we're having a heap of fun and that's what playing games is all about, isnt it ? smile

bullshit. as mentioned before by others, once the top fams have duked it out and the best remain, and they are either allied or napped for rest of round (and yes, this scenario is very common), it just comes down to who has the least regard for how players in low-ranked families might feel. The one who rapes them all indiscriminately and without regard for the consequences to the game IC in the long run is the winner. And then it's usually these people that whine in forum that ic is going down the drain and mods should do something about it. Forgive me if i think that goes beyond sarcasm.

Btw, when all is said and done, i agree with Blizzard wink

erm ... isnt this discussion quite useless?
-score measures consistency of a fam's prowess (i do agree on the fact that deletions are nefarious for this way of measuring though - on the other hand, getting people involved and active is yet another job of a leader ...)
-size measures their agressiveness
-networth measures their economic power
All 3 are indicative of how good a fam is doing, and winning in any area at eor is worthy of respect. Only when a fam gets at least 2 out of 3 at eor, they can truly claim to be the victor.
